The Moggill Ferry is a cross river cable ferry that connects Moggill and Riverview on the Brisbane River. Return services operate daily, every day of the year except for Good Friday and Christmas Day. The journey takes approximately 3 minutes on the vehicle ferry.

Bookings not taken as vessel operates an on demand service.
Please wait for the all clear from the Deckhand/Master before embarking or disembarking the vessel. At night please ensure headlights are off so the ferry Master can see the ramps. To ensure complete safety and to avoid injury, passengers should remain seated in their vehicles until onboard with the hand brake on and engine switched off. Care should be taken before opening doors of on loading/off loading traffic.
Walk on passengers should wait until all vehicle traffic movements are completed before embarking/disembarking using the marked walkways. Crew cannot accept responsibility for any injury sustained to passengers not adhering to the above regulation.
Passengers with a disability are able to board the vehicular ferry however shore based ramps are a steep gradient and assistance may be required to access the vessel. Simply ask crew members for assistance.
Carriage of Freight
All freight transported on ferries is at the owner’s risk and SeaLink takes no responsibility for loss or damage. Walk on passengers are limited to freight that can be carried on board unassisted.
Carriage of Dangerous Goods
The Dangerous Goods Safety Management Act requires that only approved fuel containers are permitted on our vessels. Approved containers are either labelled or stamped with an Australian Standard number (AS 2906). The Standard specifies requirements for portable, petroleum-product fuel containers made of metal or plastic, of nominal capacity up to and including 25 litres, intended to be refilled. Containers covered by this Standard are suitable for use with leaded, unleaded and super grades of petrol, two-stroke engine fuel, kerosene and distillate.
Non-conforming fuel containers i.e. old oil drums etc will not be carried on our vessels. It is the responsibility of the Master to ensure these rules are adhered to.
SeaLink has the right to refuse transportation of any fuel container not meeting the required Standard.
Concession/Pension Card Holders
No concessions are available.
Smoking and Consumption of Alcohol/Disorderly Behaviour
Queensland Transport Regulations do not permit smoking or consumption of alcohol on our vessels. Random on the spot fines are issued by Queensland Police and/or Queensland Transport Officers. Intoxicated persons or disorderly behaviour will not be tolerated and refusal to board the vessel may result.
Dog Transport Policy
In the interest of passenger safety, all dogs travelling on the ferry with walk on passengers must be restrained by a proper collar and lead. Dogs travelling in the back of utilities or cars should be restrained in such a manor so they cannot reach a passenger or crew member walking close past the vehicle either by a lead or wound up windows.
Bicycles are permitted and passengers are reminded to wait until all vehicle traffic movements are completed before boarding.

From Monday 1 August 2016, all vehicles including government vehicles will pay full fares to use the Moggill Ferry service. Emergency service vehicles (police, fire, ambulance, SES) who are on active duty will continue to travel for free.
