SEQ Operations Manager

With our commitment to the highest safety standards and customer satisfaction, SeaLink is seeking an SEQ Operations Manager; a newly created position.

Reporting to the General Manager SEQ, you will be a key part of our leadership team and responsible for around 100 staff; Marine Operations Managers, a Maintenance Manager and Engineers, Senior Master, marine crew and administration. 

In this newly created role you will oversee all of SEQ marine operations to ensure the efficient management, safety and operation of all vessel services, providing reliability and customer satisfaction to tourists, residents and commercial enterprises.

To succeed you will need an understanding of MSQ and AMSA requirements and will have experience in a similar role. You will possess a high level of interpersonal skills, be customer service orientated and have extensive experience in staff motivation and leadership.

Marketing and Events Coordinator

Working within a lively and fun team, the Marketing and Events Coordinator will be responsible for planning events and charters on North Stradbroke Island, including festivals and sporting events. You will also manage a budget to ensure we maximise our opportunity with sponsorship contracts.

Marketing activities will include coordinating print media design and creative copy, as well as radio and TV scripts. Social media is also an important aspect of the role, where you will manage and monitor all feeds in addition to advertising special offers to increase revenue. You will be based at Cleveland and occasional travel to the islands will be required.

You will bring to our company a positive ‘can do’ attitude, will need to be flexible and resilient and possess great creative writing skills along with bright new ideas.

To succeed, you will have experience in marketing and event coordination. Your technical knowledge will include HTML coding, the Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms, InDesign, Photoshop and Google Analytics. 

Cafe Attendants

With our commitment to great customer service, we are seeking two well presented individuals to work a minimum of 20 hours per week rostered over a two week period that can include weekdays, weekends and public holidays (mornings and afternoons). You may be rostered on either of our vehicle ferries from Cleveland to Dunwich or our on shore café. You will be a trained barista, making great coffee, possess current Responsible Service of Alcohol and food handling certification and have experience in making and serving café food and beverages. Experience in the use of POS systems, cash handling and reconciliation is essential. The role also involves some lifting as you will be replenishing stock on our vessels from our cold room after each sea crossing. 

To be successful in the role you will be a team player, a quick learner, have an outgoing personality and a great smile!
